We stayed at La Green Hotel for the first three nights upon arriving in Thailand and beginning our trip. After the flights from Spain, I wanted a hotel to sleep in Thailand with children so I could rest that had a good pool to enjoy the day after arriving , and in this case, I fell in love with the La Green pool. The choice was a success.
Surroundings: The hotel has free transfers to Layan Beach (you can also walk because it is 700 meters away), one of the most virgin and quiet beaches we have seen in Thailand and belongs to the Sirinat National Park. It also has transfers to a shopping area called Boat Avenue. It is full of bars, restaurants and shops. Although we are not big fans of that, one afternoon we went to see the area for a while and walk around and it was entertaining.
From the airport it is about 25 minutes by car, to Phuket Old City about 45 and to Royal Phuket Marina, which is where many excursions depart, about half an hour.
Type of hotel and facilities: The hotel is a new hotel and apartment complex. The facilities are phenomenal and it has a spectacular and huge pool , which means that the water temperature is not 40 degrees and is really refreshing.
The gym is very complete and it is also all new.
Room: You have rooms with kitchen included or without it. We took two connected rooms, one with a living room and kitchen and the other without it. The second had a spectacular bathroom, with a bathtub and glass
Meals : In the same hotel there are several restaurants although when we were there only the buffet breakfast area and the
JaakDin Restaurant were open , but there are other establishments that will open soon. We had dinner a couple of nights at the JaakDin restaurant and it was very good. They have a very complete menu but keep in mind that the prices are hotel prices and are of course more expensive than in street level restaurants.
The buffet breakfast is great and they also have a la carte but Africa loves buffets so there was no way to convince her to try an a la carte day.If you want to go out for dinner, there are several local terraced places on the surrounding road.
Price: They have double rooms from €60, with breakfast from €81
