A tourism-focused public services initiative has been launched in Thailand
The Entry Thailand portal is a product developed by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Kingdom of Thailand. This portal combines public and private services to provide services for tourists and travelers.
The goal of the site is to create a centralized platform for tourism. In the future, users will be able to book accommodations, plan excursions, contact the local tourist police, and apply for visa extensions through the platform.
Visitors to the Entry Thailand website will be able to:
— Find flight and train schedules
— Purchase train tickets
— Book accommodations
— Contact the local tourist police
— Check public holiday dates
In the near future, the site will also offer the ability to apply for an electronic travel authorization (ETA) on the platform. This service is scheduled to launch in December 2024.
